Karen Young has been practicing law for 20 years and brings extensive in-house experience to CGG. She is an attorney with significant experience in corporate, nonprofit, employment, and regulatory compliance practice areas. She excels at translating complex regulatory and legal issues into practical and digestible client solutions. Prior to joining CGG, Karen served as the Corporate Counsel at Vertellus Specialties Inc. and EnerDel, Inc., which were locally based Indiana companies with a global presence. Since reentering private practice in 2018, Karen has grown her practice areas to include the nonprofit sector, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, as well as extensive contract drafting and negotiation.
Karen is also an Adjunct Professor at her alma mater, the Indiana University School of Law – McKinney, where she teaches contract drafting to upper-level law students.
In her personal time, Karen volunteers with various organizations in the City of Indianapolis to make it a better, brighter place to live, work and play.
